Moms do a lot. They show up. They sacrifice, they keep everything running.
This Mother's Day, we want to give back to the community and give one deserving mom the gift of air conditioning.
We need your help finding the right person.
how it works
Phase One:
Nomination - April 13 through April 27, 2026
Tell us about a deserving mom in your life. Fill out the nomination form and share her story, why they deserve a cool mom summer?
Nominations must include a photo of the nominee.
Phase Two:
Voting (May 1st - May 9th, 2026)
We will select up to ten (10) finalists who will be featured on our Facebook page.
The nomination picture with the highest total number of photo 'likes' on May 9th, 2026, 11:59 p.m. CST.
Winner will be contacted on May 10th, 2026, and an announcement will be made on the Facebook page.
Prize
The winner will receive one of the following, to be determined based on home suitability and mutual agreement:
• One standard forced air central air conditioning unit with professional installation, or
• One single-head ductless mini split system with professional installation
Electrical services during installation are generously donated by Luke's Electric of Duluth.
The prize has no cash value and may not be substituted.
All nominations must be submitted no earlier than Monday, April 13th and no later than April 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
All submitted nomination photos are subject to being shared on the Super Duper Plumbing and Heating Facebook page.
Up to ten (10) will be selected from nominations received and their photo and nominations will be posted on the Super Duper Plumbing and Heating Facebook page on May 1st, 2026. Voting period on the posted nominations will be from May 1st - May 9th, 2026. Each "like" on the photo/nomination counts as a vote.
Winner of the Cool Mom Summer contest will be determined by the photo/nominations with the highest total number of photo "likes" on Friday, May 9th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CST.
The winner will be contacted and announced on May 10th, 2026.
Nominee must live within the Super Duper Plumbing and Heating service area (Duluth, Cloquet, Esko, Carlton, Wrenshall, Mahtowa, Barnum, Moose Lake, Cromwell, Floodwood, Hermantown, Proctor, Saginaw). Nominees outside this area will not be eligible to win.
The Cool Mom Summer winner must own the home in which the air conditioning will be installed.

eligibility and use
• Priority will be given to nominees whose primary residence does not currently have a functioning air conditioning system.
• Installation is available for residential primary residences only within the Super Duper Plumbing & Heating service area.
• Cabins, she sheds, vacation homes, and secondary residences are not eligible.
• The prize does not apply to commercial equipment or rooftop HVAC systems.
• Any additional work or upgrades beyond a standard air conditioning installation (including but not limited to ductwork modifications, gas line installation, venting alterations, or electrical updates) are not included. Super Duper Plumbing & Heating will provide a written estimate for any requested additional services.
• Existing ductwork, electrical, gas lines, and venting must be in safe, serviceable condition and compatible with the new equipment. Any required repairs or code updates necessary for proper installation will be quoted separately.
